Nikola Gala
Nikola Gala has been releasing top-notch house music on labels such as Plastic City, Ibadan, Rekids and his own Escada for the past 7 years.
His first foray into Freerange territory was the exclusive track I Get You for the Freerange Colour Series, which was a highlight of the compilation and a mainstay of Jimpster’s DJ sets that summer. Next came Nikola's debut EP Keep Walking, which was met with praise from artists including Josh Wink, Radio Slave, Ewan Pearson and Deetron to name a few. The EP showed that he is a producer that is equally at home making roof raising peak time monsters as he is with stripped back jacking grooves or more soul-tinged deep house.
As a DJ he left his music mark in many places around the globe such as Stockholm,Berlin, Madrid,Jakarta,Tokyo,Tel Aviv and Kiev. With further touring planned for 2011 it's clear this isn't the last we've heard of this talented greek producer.
