Mark Wadsworth has been releasing his diverse range of music through Freerange since 1998. With a soulful and musical approach gained from his years sessioning as a drummer and bass player, Mark has gained new fans from right across the musical spectrum.
After a hand full of well-received Square One 12’s, June 2002 saw the release of his debut Square One LP entitled 'Round One'. A mixture of deep house, broken beats, down tempo grooves and minimalist nu Jazz touches, the album picked up much respect from DJs as diverse as Dan Ghenacia, LTJ Bukem, Ivan Smagghe and Mixmaster Morris.
Mark’s follow up album ‘Field Gentian’ gained critical acclaim from across the board:

Field Gentian firmly placed Mark on the map of producers to keep an ear out for. A deep, experimental but seriously engaging collection of tracks taking influences from Latin and afro house, the deeper side of techno, electro, jazz and electronica..
As well as producing for Freerange, Mark has also released records as Mettle Music and Mettle Trax on labels such as Toko, Transport, Nordic Trax, Low Pressings, Dad House, After Hours and Bar de lune
